Around the clock, on 365 days a year, we secure this critical communication through the network operation of the Digitalfunk BOS and the networks of the federal government. Move something for Germany with your talents and act as: Teamleiter (m/d) Your team is the second-level support for all network connections and IP components of the federal network users – that is, the level that takes over when a fault becomes complex or needs deeper system knowledge. In addition, your team operates the information network transition: the interface via which the German connection network is connected to the communication network of European administration facilities – technically demanding and with appropriate visibility if something does not work.

Your responsibility

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of an 8-member team in Bonn and Berlin, including the responsibility for accessibility and performance in the 24/7 readiness model. The translation of strategic requirements of department management into concrete goals, standards and work processes that can be implemented in the team You agree closely with the other team lines in the NdB environment – including mutual representation, so that the operation will never stop even in the absence. For personal development with substance: development talks, targeted training planning and a perspective for each and every team You are introducing your own ideas, instead of implementing them - co-designing projects that shape the technical and organizational future of the federal networks

Your profile A technical study (message technology, computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) or a comparable qualification acquired in practice Deep understanding of second-level support processes and a good feeling for how first and second levels interact leadership experience – or the clear willingness to take responsibility for people from a strong professional role Experience in controlling technical projects, even if requirements change during the term Very good German and good English skills
