Fiber Optic Technician for Fiber Optic Network Operation m/w/d

We are looking for LWL technicians for fiber optic network operation m/w/d R-KOM is provider of Internet, telephone and TV in East Bavaria and builds the fiber optic network of the future. Every year we develop over 10,000 units in more than 1,000 buildings - a challenging task. You contribute to the further growth and success of R-KOM with your commitment.

You make sure our passive fiber optic network runs reliably – smoothly and trouble-free Quality is your thing: you make sure that all work on the network is technically and regulatoryly implemented You carry out OTDR measurements, analyze event locations and take care of the sustainable troubleshooting You'll start and plead splice plans and take care of stock documentation You enter rebuilds, control external destructive teams (lower construction, LWL assembly) and are the interface between internal professionals and service providers

You are a technician or master in electrical engineering or communications technology You know yourself with fiberglass – especially in the area NE3 and NE4 – and are fit in OTDR measurement, splicing, error analysis You have routine dealing with common network documentation systems (ideally Rimo) You bring team spirit with you, you can get through, communicate clearly and keep an overview of many participants You have class B driving license and willingness to participate in a remunerated readiness
