Account Manager (m/w/d)

The F.A.Z. is involved in companies in various business areas. In addition to the management of the equity portfolio and the structured support of shareholders from a company perspective, acquisition options with strategic growth opportunities are continuously tested in the field of equity management and M&A. In particular, the focus is on segments that make an increasing contribution to the F.A.Z. result in the medium term and enable F.A.Z. to be a market leader.

As part of our M&A team, you are involved in all participation projects (acquisition, divestment and joint venture projects) within the F.A.Z. Group, taking responsibility for subprojects – from analysis to implementation. You continuously analyze market trends and competitive environments, identify relevant investment opportunities at an early stage and develop strategic recommendations for management. You create and evaluate complex business cases using different financial methods (e.g. DCF, Multiples) and derive viable decision bases for management. You coordinate due diligence processes autonomously, control internal and external stakeholders and are responsible for creating central transaction and decision documents for management. You develop optimal transaction structures and independently manage selected M&A projects. Your expertise actively contributes to the further development of our participation strategy.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of business management, economics or industrial engineering – ideally focusing on corporate finance, accounting or strategic management. You have practical experience in the M&A environment, in strategic business development or in a comparable area related to transactions, investment projects or strategic business decisions. You control the analysis and evaluation of company key figures securely and understand that financial and strategic factors are combined into a holistic market image. You combine your analytical and conceptual strength with a structured methodologically sound working method and competence for individual solutions. Personally convince you with your sovereign and binding way. In dealing with MS Office – especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word – you act safely and efficiently. You prepare complex topics address-oriented and convince by a professional, clear way of presentation.
