Accounting & Reporting Manager (m/w/d)

Are you a financial expert with sound knowledge in US-GAAP and are looking for a responsible role in which you can play a key role in shaping the financial reporting for the European units of an internationally operating company in Hamburg? As part of an exclusive brokerage, we are looking for an experienced Accounting & Reporting Manager (m/w/d), who reports directly to the VP Finance Europe. Responsibility for the financial consolidation of European units according to US-GAAP and the correct disclosure for consolidated financial statements.

Management of reporting tools (e.g. Oracle FCCS/BPCS) and monthly reporting to the US parent company.

Preparation of analyses and presentations for the European management team, including deviation analyses to support decisions.

Sparring partners for operations in the definition and analysis of business KPIs and productivity indicators.

Central contact person in the annual budgeting process (AOP).

Careful analysis of financial performance and business activity and their documentation.

At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in a production environment.

Embossed knowledge in U.S. GAP and experience with consolidation and reporting tools (e.g. Oracle FCCS/BPCS).

Flowing German and very good English skills in word and writing are required. Basic knowledge of the Dutch language is of advantage.

Very good knowledge in handling MS Office, especially Excel.

Focus on partnership and interdisciplinary cooperation with operational executives.

Analytical thinkability and a structured way of working.

A key role with a direct line of reports to the VP Finance Europe, where you will significantly influence financial reporting.

The ability to implement new processes and reporting tools and thus create a noticeable added value.
