The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Dortmund is a growing network of stationary and outpatient youth aids. In addition to a children's village family, there are also differentiated care facilities for stationary housing groups for children, outpatient assistance for education, a public day nursery with family center as well as a city centre. From summer 2026, another kita will also be opened. For our SOS Children's Village Dortmund, we are looking for an additional time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.)Â In the SOS Children's Village Dortmund a new residential group is created in the Huckarde district for eight children between 8 and 13 years.

As a team coordinator*in, you will build the group with your team and create a safe home in which the children can individually unfold in a trusted atmosphere. Together you accompany the children in their daily lives, support them and encourage them in persuasive and school challenges and walk with them into a self-determined life. As a team coordinator, you support the field management in the implementation and continuation of the group conception, moderate the team meetings and organize the levels in the group. Together with your teammates, you take care and support of up to 8 children, actively participate in the education and assistance planning of the children, and orient yourself here to the quality requirements of the SOS Children's Village Association. You organize a structured daily routine and contribute to the design of an active group life. You offer a good cooperation with youth, schools and other specialist services, as well as intensive, cooperative and resource-oriented parental work. You carry out general economic activities in connection with the educational mission. In your duties, you are responsible for the implementation of child and child protection. You can also work in shift services (including 24-hour services) in the form of day services and in the case of representation. It also includes day and post services on weekends and holidays.

You have a degree as a social educationin or a childhood educationin or a comparable educational qualification and bring professional experience. You are a dedicated and team-leading personality with the willingness to take responsibility. You encounter our representatives and their parents with interest in value, an understanding attitude and tolerance. You are flexible and open to the needs of households in a residential group.
