Lead Maintenance (all genders) We are now looking for Lead Maintenance (all genders) Warehouse Technology for our new logistics location in Gießen, which is driving the construction of the site in cooperation with the Senior Leadership Team. Our goal is to quickly build up the site and grow steadily. In the medium term, you will lead a team of 40 -50 inmates (shift management, experts, mechanics, electrical engineering).

WARUM THE ROLLE FOR YOU SPEAKING IS:Response the maintenance area and ensure safe and economical plant operation

Optimize the interaction between warehouse management system, process technology and the PLC level, as this has a significant influence on an optimal material flow

Guide a team of several technicians and help them plan, execute and monitor all maintenance and maintenance measures

In the course of onboarding, you will be involved in our other logistics locations for several weeks and should bring the readiness to travel.

You have a university degree or a completed training as a master or technician in the field of mechatronics, automation/electronics, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification

You have already demonstrated your professional experience and knowledge in the management of industrial, preferably technical, plants.

You already have leadership experience and know how to motivate and promote a team

Flowing language skills in German and very good in English

Hands-on mentality: You have fun building a new location and scaling processes

OVERVIEW OF GIESSEN Our European logistics network is growing: We have already begun to build our new state-of-the-art location in the German city of Gießen (1 hour from Frankfurt am Main). It is fully operated by Zalando and will create around 1,700 jobs. The construction of the 130,000 square meter logistics center began in the fourth quarter of 2021, and manual operation will be started in 2026. From Gießen, customers will be supplied in Germany and abroad.
