Head of R&D and Manufacturing China (m/f/d)

Close strategic coordination with the management in China for the orientation and further development of the local research, development and production strategy General responsibility for research & development at the China site, including control of all development activities, technology decisions and innovation projects Leadership, further development and targeted qualification of local R&D, engineering and production teams in compliance with the highest quality and innovation standards Development of new products and solutions for the international market taking into account different customer, market and regulatory requirements Construction and commissioning of modern production analgae as well as continuous optimization of development and production processes Central interface function between the German parent company and the Chinese location, in particular to ensure efficient knowledge transfer in research & development Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and work protection requirements in the development and production environment according to international standards Participation in the technical evaluation, selection and development of local suppliers and development partners Compilation of technical and development-relevant documentation and regular reporting to management

Successfully completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering) or a comparable qualification with sound technical expertise Long-standing leadership experience in production and/or research & development, ideal in an international industrial environment Sovereign dealing with multicultural teams, preferably in cooperation with Asian partners Detectional experience in building and scaling research and development structures as well as the successful transfer of new products into the series Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of Chinese language of advantage Impressed leadership with high organizational strength, decision-making and hand-on mentality High travel readiness and flexibility for longer foreign operations for direct control on site
