Technical Building Operations Employee – Frankfurt School Careers (m/f/d)

Performing regular control, state and service tours in the office and building areas as well as on the grounds of the university property incl. Functional tests and documentation of identified defects or vulnerabilities Operational access and authorization management (administration of access rights, creation of access cards, programming of electronic closing media, and support in fault analysis and troubleshooting of access systems) Ensuring cross-site postal and parcel logistics including daily transport journeys as well as care and operational management of the pool vehicles carrying out small repair, maintenance and repair work on technical facilities and on building and furniture equipment (e.g. bulb change, smaller door and window adjustments, simple sanitary work) Coordination, instruction and support of external service providers and maintenance companies incl. Performance monitoring, documentation and support for decreases Support in operational building operations (including room openings, event services, user support, staff/service providers/visitors) Participation in security and reception tasks (visitor reception, identification and access controls, visitor IDs, contact person for safety-relevant concerns) as well as processing of technical fault messages in the ticket system and tracking of the processing stands Ensure compliance with safety, work and fire protection regulations and participation in hazard reports and organisational safety management

Complete professional or technical training (e.g. as an electrician:in, plant mechanic:in, carpenter:in, specialist for building technology or comparable qualification) or multiannual professional experience in technical building or facility management Basic knowledge of the technical building equipment (e.g. electrical, sanitary, climate/ventilation) and understanding of building-related operations Experience with digital access, closing and authorization systems as well as safety-relevant tasks Safe handling of digital applications (e.g. ticket systems, MS Office/Standard Office) Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing High reliability and sense of responsibility in handling access rights as well as key and identity management Service-oriented, friendly and professional appearance towards different target groups Self-employed, structured working and organisational skills in daily business Physical resilience, readiness for flexible periods of use (e.g. early/sales services) and driving licence Class B
