As a Data Analyst / Data Consultant, you identify value creation potentials, make benefits measurable and accompany the implementation – from analytics to data strategy. At 23DATA you work team-oriented on the digital transformation of our customers: from the Universal Bank to FinTech. We transform regulatory requirements into data-driven improvements in control, processes and products. You understand Business Intelligence as an end-to-end process to scalable, data-based business models.

Your tasks - make data use targeted:

You act as a link between the business divisions (e.g. risk, controlling, corporate management) and related, technological solutions:

Data Analysis and Consulting (BI/Analytics) in the Data Warehouse, ideally with a technical focus in the financial services environment (e.g. banks, insurance companies, FinTech)

Conception and coordination of technical solutions in close cooperation with specialist departments (requirers) and IT developers (reactors) – you are the interface between technology and business

SQL data analysis and test execution you master yourself, with other programming languages, such as Python or R ideally you had touch points (e.g. Data Science Tools) in the On Premise and Cloud environment

Development of technical solutions. Open to learning new methods and technological approaches

Creating data modelling, database structures and/or data quality indicators in the context of data warehousing can occur

We learn from the best: You pass your knowledge to our junior consultants through training and mentoring

at least 2 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in the consulting or financial environment

completed studies (informatics, business informatics, BWL with tech focus, mathematics) or comparable qualification

German knowledge of C1 level required for project work and communication

English knowledge in word and writing (C1)

Self-employed working and readiness to travel (approximately once a month to customers)

Openness for new challenges and changing environments

Embossed communication and networking capabilities

You speak flowing SQL including analytical functions and data modeling

Founded practice with at least one BI tool (e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI)

Basic knowledge of Python or R

Technical knowledge (of advantage): Experience with different database systems (e.g. relational SQL, cloud-based database technologies) and/or data platforms (e.g. ETL/ELT)

Basic understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (e.g. cloud storage solutions) of the functioning of the services – you understand the concepts and can talk!

Recruiting process

Our claim is to ensure an efficient recruitment process at eye level, in which both parties can assess the suitability for the written vacancy. The process starts with a first 30 minutes to get to know by phone. If both parties agree to a continuation, a specialist interview follows. When all talks are positive, a conversation with a member of our management team completes the selection process.
