Support planning and forecasting: You support product management and purchasing in the annual budget and forecast process. In doing so, you develop sound forecasts for purchasing volumes, stocks, as well as essential earnings and liquidity effects Analysis of business development: You take the numbers to the ground, recognize relevant relationships and take concrete and economically sensible measures from product ranges, stock and margin developments Control stocks and working capital: You carefully analyze inventory levels, overstocks, slow-moving and inventory risks without losing sight of the overriding economic objectives Evaluate purchasing performance: You check the development of stand-alone prices, purchasing conditions and margins and evaluate purchasing measures as well as savings based on their actual earnings impact Reporting structured development: You will regularly write weekly and monthly reports as well as decision-relevant ad hoc analyses. Proven processes will be developed specifically if data quality, transparency or meaningfulness can be improved Commercial Sparring Partner: You answer business questions well-founded, develop a clear own assessment and represent your position on product management and purchasing. You work autonomously and tune in the crucial points with the areas involved

Qualification: A completed economic studies (controlling, finance or purchasing) and ideally three to five years of experience in controlling, like trading or e-commerce Economic understanding: You know the relationships between purchasing, stock, margin and working capital and want to achieve concrete results Analytical thinking: You have pleasure in numbers, work thoroughly and keeps the result in mind Working method: You work structured and independent Enforcement: You represent your opinion convincingly and find pragmatic solutions Tools and languages: You have very good Excel knowledge, ideally experience with SAP, safely speak German and English and are ready for occasional business trips
