Tasks with perspectives

You play a central role in the operation and monitoring of our critical payment transactions and are instrumental in ensuring trouble-free operation. You identify proactive disturbances and performance bottlenecks, analyze their causes and develop sustainable solutions in the team to ensure system stability in the long term. You plan and run software deployments independently. You develop our proven system environment and ensure that it is highly available and efficient in the future and can be managed with standardized modern tools. You develop and optimise operating documentation to continuously increase the transparency and efficiency of our processes. As an important part of the team, you take responsibility in the readiness (7 x 24 / max. 90 days/year) and thus ensure a high availability of our systems in critical situations.

Personality with profile

You have a completed study of (economic) informatics as well as several years of relevant professional experience in IT or a comparable qualification. You have good (Bash and Python) scripting skills and can also use them with automation tools, such as Automic. You have experience in dealing with Linux systems, in particular in providing Apache Webserver and Tomcat based distributed applications, as well as their connection to middleware technologies such as MQ, SQL databases, and file transfer services such as UDM or Connect:Direct. With DevOps tools like Git, Helm, CI:CD, Ansible in the Kubernetes environment, you know and have good knowledge of how to handle monitoring and alerting tools (including Graylog, Prometheus and Grafana) and in middleware technologies such as Nginx. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level). salary frame and career level The annual salary for this position is between € 65,000 and € 90,000 for a 38-hour week, depending on the corresponding experience and qualification, and pays on our career model as follows:
