You will be part of the Legal section. Colleagues advise management, departments and operational units of the entire group of companies on all essential legal issues - from civil and insurance contractual issues to corporate and supervisory issues to investment law, IT and data protection law as well as regulatory. The area is interdisciplinary - with teams for Legal Operations, Corporate & Regulatory, Project Management & IT Law and the Corporate Office. Together, You ensure that legal requirements are recognised, pragmatically implemented and effectively controlled. The advice is always in close coordination with adjacent functions such as compliance, risk management, purchasing and IT. As a Legal Counsel* with the focus on contract & IT law, you take over the legal subproject management in company-wide projects - often with the focus on IT or digitization - and also control external firms and consultants. You advise specialist areas such as IT and purchasing in the design, negotiation and execution of complex procurement projects and contracts - and bring your legal expertise to current developments in data protection, IP, Digital Law and the legal consequences of technical innovations.

That's why this job could be interesting for you: You play a key role in the legal support of group-wide projects - in particular with IT and digitization You bring your legal expertise into transformation projects and shape contracts, governance structures and operational implementation in the shoulder of operational units You advise on key legal areas such as civil law, corporate law, IT/IP, data protection and support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements That would be your specific tasks Legal accompaniment of Group-wide projects - often focusing on corporate issues Advising the IT and Purchasing departments, especially in complex IT purchasing projects Contract negotiations with external service providers as well as examination and design of corresponding contracts - in particular in IT, service and procurement projects Legal analysis of complex facts and development of pragmatic recommendations Current legal support for operational areas - in particular in civil law, corporate law, IT/IP, data protection and digitalization Participation in the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements and in internal projects for digital development

Completed legal studies At least two years of professional experience as a lawyer or inhouse lawyer:in Knowledge of civil law and company law Knowledge of IT/IP and data protection Very good German knowledge in word and writing, good English knowledge
