Application Consultant Treasury

Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,300 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.

For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as Application Consultant Treasury at the Berlin site in an indefinite position at the next time. You enter, develop and secure the operation of business applications in the SAP environment (e.g. Coupa, Treasury systems, reporting tools). You analyse technical requirements and implement them together with Finance, Procurement and Controlling. You will advise the fields of processes and their technical mapping in the applications. You integrier and provide interfaces to ERP systems, banks, supplier portals and external services. You carry out tests, document results and assist in the acceptance. You work in projects and take part in project responsibility for introducing new solutions or optimizing existing systems.

You have completed university studies (e.g. business informatics, computer science, business management with IT focus) or a comparable qualification. You bring relevant experience in application support or system administration, ideally in the ERP and financial environment. You know yourself in process consulting and system integration. You have experience with interfaces (e.g. API, EBICS, SWIFT) and regulatory requirements (comliance, data security). You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented. You are communicative, team-ready, and you are self-initiative. You have fluent knowledge of German in word and writing.
