Senior Manager Advanced Analytics Engineering (m/f/d)

You implement complex advanced analytics and AI use cases with the departments, IT and your data, analytics and data science team You develop and implement sophisticated models and algorithms from the fields of machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, forecasting and causal analysis Based on Operations Research and Scenario Analays for Complex Problems, you conceptualize optimization and decision models and implement them In our operating IT systems based on Azure Databricks, you build production-related data and analytics pipelines and develop them further You ensure our engineering excellence through testability, reusability, performance and technical documentation Continuous monitoring and technical responsibility for a stable operation as well as the enablement of the team complete your tasks

You have completed an IT-based / quantitative course with (very) good success (e.g. computer science, mathematics, business informatics, business mathematics, economic engineering, etc.) You can demonstrate at least 5 years of practical experience in the implementation of complex advanced analytics and AI-use cases with high technical responsibility Very good German knowledge (min. C1-Level) are provided for this job You have comprehensive analytics and AI skills in at least two of the following areas: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI and LLM architectures (RAG, Embeddings, etc.) A solid understanding of software engineering (especially testing, versioning, debugging, CI/CD basics) and very good knowledge of Python and SQL (including structured implementation and performance orientation) are provided If you have experience in mathematical optimization (operation research) and productive provision of technical solutions and experience in handling modern data management stacks (e.g. Azure Databricks, dbt), this is advantageous Your distinct structured and analytical mindset is the same as your communicative ability to convey complex facts to the address You have a strong team capacity and implementation strength that is expressed in a hand-on mentality and solution orientation
