Fields of activity during training You manufacture components on CNC-controlled milling machines

You enter manufacturing parameters into the machines or retrieve programs from the machine store and modify them if necessary You select the tools, apply metal blanks, align them and drive the machines You monitor the machining processes, remove the finished workpieces and check whether measurements and surface quality meet the requirements In case of malfunctions, you will search for defined test procedures and fix the problem Regular inspection and maintenance of the machines is also part of your tasks In the later course of your training you can specialize in either turning or milling
