The role at a glance As Head of (m/w/d) Supply & Demand Planning, you take over the overall responsibility for production and inventory planning and thus ensure product availability in over 80 countries worldwide. You’re leading a team leader, continuously developing processes and structures and actively contributing to DENK PHARMA’s ability to deliver and compete in a dynamic market environment. With your leadership and analytical thinking, you will significantly shape the future of our supply chain.

Demand PlanningBedarfsprognose: Develop precise stock forecasts based on current market and sales data with your team to consistently avoid over and understocks Market cooperation: Work closely with the Sales Team and international wholesalers to record demand signals early and to ensure optimal inventory levels in all markets Structural optimisation: Develop internal planning processes and structures continuously and thus create a resilient basis for scalable decisions

Supply PlanningEngpass Management: Identify potential supply risks early and manage proactive measures to ensure product availability even in volatile situations

Interface ManagementInternship: Verzahne Planning close to adjacent areas such as sales, finance and operations to ensure a coordinated, company-wide control of product availability International Markets: Coordinate demand planning with global partners and wholesalers so that market access in all regions remains smooth and efficient

Technical background: You have successfully completed an economic study or a comparable qualification with a focus on business management Professional experience: You have already gained several years of experience in supply & demand planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector Leadership Competence: Ideally, you bring proven experience in the leadership of teams and executives and understand how to motivate people through an inspiring attitude to excellence Analytical Strength: You have strong analytical skills and end-to-end thinking that allows you to penetrate complex numbers and situations and derive entrepreneurial decisions from them Flexibility & drive: You can safely move in a dynamic environment where rapid change of direction is also required, and with maximum operational readiness you can continue to develop Travel readiness & languages: You are willing to carry out business trips (the focus of Germany, partly the EU), and have knowledge of German and English that are safe from negotiation. AI Mindset: You actively use data-driven tools and AI-based planning systems to sharpen forecast models, identify supply chain risks earlier and support your team in developing smart, future-oriented supply strategies.
