· Entrepreneurial leadership, strategic and operational responsibility as well as results-oriented management of the company in the Board of Management in accordance with high performance mandate and corporate strategy in collaborative cooperation with the Executive Board colleagues. You act as a central interface to political and public actors, represent the company in relevant bodies and communicate innovations in public and political areas. You report to the Board of Directors · The area of responsibility you are responsible extends to the central functions with personnel and organization, IT/digitalization and processes, financial/ accounting and controlling, landfill operations including decommissioning and renewable energies, to the co-responsibility for seven staff members together with the board member as well as to the management of the operating participation companies. Changes can still arise in the context of divisions in coordination with the board member. · A key feature of DBS is the interaction between AöR, its two operating subsidiaries and external disposal partners. As a minority shareholder, you take over the co-management of the Waste Logistics Bremen GmbH (ALB) and possibly also the street cleaning Bremen GmbH (SRB) Due to strategic changes, the SRB is to recommunalize and integrate into the DBS by 2028. The development of the management of the SRB is currently being developed within the framework of the remuneration project. · You actively shape change, integration and communication processes, lead the unification of company-wide processes, in particular taking into account innovations and digitalization and the associated optimization of structures and processes, through transparency and decision-making strength forward. You organize a flexible, fast and efficient organization with efficient structures and processes as well as competent employees. · You are clearly geared towards efficient compliance with legal requirements, which are aimed not at short-term, but at medium- and long-term successes, and in particular at financial stability. · You are characterized by strong internal networking and constructive cooperation. You know the culture of public enterprises with live participation and co-determination. · Good user knowledge in common ERP and operating systems as well as knowledge of German and good English in word and writing are expected. The willingness to live in Bremen is desired.
