In the Powertrain factory planning at Untertürkheim/Mettingen site, exciting projects, a motivated team and the opportunity to actively shape the future of the automotive industry await you. Mercedes-Benz AG's factory planning department is responsible for the worldwide development and the competent and economic realization of innovative, future-oriented and sustainable factory and location concepts. As a local team coordination team for the Powertrain-Werk Untertürkheim incl. all external offices, we are the first and central contact persons of the early operational phase for feasibility studies on new and new constructions as well as the area management in the outdoor area including traffic planning. In addition, we are responsible for the central cross-sectional topics of the department regarding digital planning, sustainability and medium-scale deployment planning. In order to secure our projects, we need close cooperation with all project participants within the factory planning and partner areas, external planning partners and competent authorities. This is essential in order to plan all performance volumes, to make decisions on time and to ensure a smooth process during implementation. Your tasks – This is what awaits you: Co-operation in site coordination: exterior management, traffic planning and location search for new needs within the plant Organization & Team Control: You support the organization of the team and the department, prepare meetings and workshops and help create management and decision-making templates Networking: Make valuable contacts in Powertrain Factory Planning and build a network for your future Project work & Controlling: You take independent tasks or small projects. You actively participate in large-scale projects, support financial and project controlling and introduce your own ideas. Support for factory planning and construction projects: From the technical building infrastructure to building renovation to outdoor facilities Building site and project visits: Experience close to the skin, how innovative factory and site concepts are implemented The activity can begin from February/March 2026.

Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable degree course Secure handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Very good German knowledge, English knowledge of advantage Analytical thinking, strategic working and engagement Teamability, initiative and independent work Be part of our success story!
