With the German Center for Astrophysics (DZA), a new research centre is created in the Lausitz. The decision to set up the Centre was made on 29.09.2022 in the context of the competition “knowledge creates prospects for the region”, which, in the course of the Structural Reinforcement Act, was called up to strengthen the regions affected by the coal exit from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Free State of Saxony and the Land of Saxony-Anhalt, in order to strengthen Germany’s scientific and innovation location and to contribute to the development of the Saxian Lus region. As a globally visible sign of innovation, the DZA will create new opportunities for strategic leadership roles of German astrophysics and shape the structural change in the Lausitz in a sustainable manner. At the beginning of the year 2023, a three-year construction phase began with the aim of establishing the DZA as an independent institution in 2025. The construction phase is jointly organized by the Deutsche Elektronen Synchrotron (DESY) and the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). There is a unique opportunity to actively participate in the construction of a large research centre and to help shape the future structures. (in the presence of personal requirements E 11 TV-L) first to 31.12.2025 (determination according to TzBfG) with option for extension/maintenance at the DZA after the end of the construction phase. In close coordination with the management of the Campus Development department as well as taking into account the processes at the two project centres (TUD and DESY) during the construction phase, you will process sub-areas of the project development and planning of a large research campus for the DZA. The project development starts with the support of the demand and basic determination and is laid the foundation for the implementation of the structural measures on the Kahlbaumareal in Görlitz. The coordination of subprojects and the technical and content testing of areas of project controlling (cost estimate/cost forecast/framework schedules) are part of your tasks. Your range of tasks includes: Supporting the project development and support of project management in the control and evaluation of the services provided (partly by external planning offices), in the follow-up management and in the audit of the accounts, supporting the project management in all tasks of project management according to AHO Participation in negotiations (contracts, supplements), acquisitions and tender processing (creation of tender documents, tender evaluations and award proposals) Development of decision templates for project management Participation in the creation of cost determinations, construction descriptions and feasibility studies Creating and updating project schedules, reports and documentation and tracking critical processes Participation in the technical and (construction) economic planning and implementation of the project Coordination and communication between the builder and the builders (e.g. authorities at federal and regional level, planning offices, construction companies and other stakeholders) Monitoring of construction site activities technical exchange of planning results with the entire team
