For our department »GMP Zell- und Gentherapie« we are looking for an employee*in for clinical logistics and sample delivery at the Leipzig site as soon as possible. The department produces cell and gene therapeutics as well as other cellular products under good-manufacturing-Practice (GMP)-compliant conditions and is responsible for the quality control of the clinical test preparations. The following tasks are waiting for you:

  • They support the organization and implementation of logistics processes for the production of patient-specific, cell-based gene therapy products in Europe.
  • Engagedly accompany the delivery of individual medicines to our project partners: They prepare the shipments carefully - from labelling to packaging in Kryoshipper to the scheduled delivery to the courier service.
  • Also participate in the acceptance and registration of cellular starting materials and ensure a structured and reliable process.
  • Worldwide sample shipments, such as project partners and analysis laboratories, coordinate routined and with a view to regulatory requirements in the GMP environment.
  • For all logistics and shipping processes, you ensure complete, GMP-compliant documentation and contribute to maintaining quality standards in your area.

What you bring

  • A completed professional or school education in the field of life sciences (e.g. as MTLA, BTA, biology laboratory or in another comparable field)
  • Ideal knowledge in the field of logistics of pharmaceutical products and customs matters
  • Safe handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Very good English skills for working with English-language documents and international project partners as well as good German knowledge for the safe application of regulatory requirements and internal documentation systems
  • As high safety requirements apply to sensitive and regulated products, a readiness to participate in a verification of reliability by the local authority is absolutely necessary.
  • With your distinctive organizational design, you can work your tasks thoroughly and structured and do not hesitate to work on documentation. For the occasional transport of larger loads, you are physically suitable and bring the chronological flexibility to work occasionally early in the morning, in the evening hours or, if necessary, on the weekend.
