Business Continuity Manager (m/f/d)

The Information Security Unit (NRI) provides advice on all issues relating to information security and supports the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, internal audits are carried out, penetration tests are coordinated to strengthen VGF's IT security, and coordination with the Federal Office for Security in Information Technology (BSI) is taken over. The aim is to support the information security of VGF and to develop it sustainably. For this purpose, the unit works closely and supportively with all business and staff areas as well as external partners:inside. You take over the design, construction and operation of a business continuity management (BCM) for the VGF, including governance, guidelines and documentation Business impact analyses as well as risk and threat analyses lead you in close coordination with the specialist areas and derive suitable BCM strategies and restart concepts The creation, maintenance and further development of emergency, action and restart plans according to regulatory and normative requirements (e.g. KRITIS/BSI requirements, ISO standards) is part of your responsibility The planning, organisation and moderation of BCM exercises, emergency training and scenario analyses are in your hands – including the transfer of results into concrete improvement measures You ensure the close interconnection of BCM with crisis management and IT emergency management/disaster recovery Promote awareness and advice of executives and employees as well as participation in building a sustainable BCM organisation You are active You undertake the preparation of reports and evidence for internal audits and external audits (e.g. BSI audits) and the continuous development of the BCM system

You have a degree in business management, (economic) informatics, security or risk management or a comparable qualification; Alternatively, you will bring a well-founded training with appropriate practical experience You also have relevant practical experience in crisis, emergency or business continuity management, ideally in a larger organization of the transport and transport sector, in a KRITIS operator or in a comparable regulated environment Alternatively, you will bring a strong interest in further development in these areas; a relevant certification in the field of business continuity management is advantageous You bring conceptual strength and experience in managing interdisciplinary projects with You are familiar with relevant standards and legal requirements (e.g. BSI standards, KRITIS regulations, ISO 22301) You work in a structured, self-responsible manner and occur safely, even at different hierarchical levels Embossed communication and moderation skills as well as team orientation and readiness to learn complete your profile A very good understanding of company-wide processes and dependencies as well as analytical skills complement your competence profile
