To strengthen our team, we are looking for 01.01.2027 or, after agreement, for a senior physician (m/w/d) in anaesthesia, intensive medicine, emergency medicine and pain therapy for our clinic in Lorsch. Deputy Head of Department: You represent the chief physician in technical, organizational and strategic matters and are instrumental in the future-oriented development of the department. Variety of activities: In our modern orthopedic specialist clinic, you are active in a medically demanding environment throughout the entire range of perioperative care. The focus is on predominantly planned interventions and on regional anaesthesiological procedures. Efficient staff management: You are responsible for employee deployment planning and coordination and contribute together with the team to a structured and smooth operating management. Interprofessional cooperation: In close coordination with the operational departments, the care and other professional groups involved, you create a high-quality perioperative patient care and promote a reliable, collegial cooperation in the hospital everyday. Planable background service: you participate in the background service; regular attendance services are not provided for this position.

You have a specialist medical certificate for anaesthesiology as well as additional names of emergency medicine and intensive medicine; ideally supplemented by the additional name Clinical acute and emergency medicine. You bring experience in employee management, in the training of assistant physicians and in surgical management. You are interested in a long-term activity full-time within a 5-day week and are characterised by a high level of commitment and the need to continuously develop processes and structures. Ideally, you have the qualification as a transfusion officer or Transfusion officer.
