The team portfolio strategy, xEV Powertrain Strategy & Competitor Intelligence MB Vans coordinates strategic vehicle projects in the pilot phase to decision-making and conducts Feasibility studies for product concepts and strategic vehicle projects. In addition, we review and evaluate the vehicle product portfolio for MB Vans in cross-functional terms with the specialist functions. We are also constantly examining our existing series with regard to market potential, competitiveness and complexity. The development and implementation of a groundbreaking xEV powertrain strategy that takes account of economic, regulatory and production aspects is also part of our repertoire. We also work on the strategy of autonomous driving for Mercedes-Benz Vans. As part of the Competitor Intelligence, we keep a cross-functional view of the activities of our competitors and derive relevant action needs from them.
