You develop and expand the control software for autonomous mobile robot systems and also work with safety-relevant functions and drive components. From the first idea to the operational solution, you accompany the entire software process – including simulation, testing, error analysis and continuous further development. You design and program interfaces between PLC, robotics, visualization and other system components and develop suitable software modules for this purpose. Another focus is on the design of reusable software and automation structures for mobile robotics and driverless transport systems. Together with colleagues from different technical disciplines, you work on innovative development and research projects around the next generation of mobile robotics. In addition, you support the standardization and modularization of existing software solutions and work with external technology partners as well as scientific institutions.

You have completed a technical or scientific study, for example in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a related field. You bring practical experience in industrial software development and are particularly familiar with the programming of PLC-based controllers. Knowledge of robotics, mobile automation, control and safety technology or autonomous navigation is advantageous. For cooperation in the international technical environment, you have very good knowledge of German (must have) as well as reliable knowledge of English. You work structured, solution-oriented and self-employed, approach technical questions analytically and can convincingly convey your results to different contact persons.
