Their demanding and varied activities include the evidence-based assessment of (new) methods of investigation and treatment and the preparation of test guidelines from the Joint Federal Committee for the initiation of clinical trials. You support the Department of Medicine at the GKV-Spitzenverband with your professional know-how to develop the performance catalogue for the statutory health insurers according to the current state of science. Our goal: Innovations with proven benefits for patients are included in the performance catalogue. Innovation, which (still) is not a proof of benefits, is to be applied only in clinical trials. This applies both to examination and treatment methods in diseases and to population-related screening and disease management programs. We also develop suitable instruments and measures for quality assurance in medical care.

You have an approbation as a physician (m/w/d), as far as possible with completed training, and have acquired knowledge in the structures and processes of medical care and their financing within the framework of multi-year clinical activity. In particular, You have extensive knowledge and experience in the evidence-based medicine methodology and their implementation in clinical studies for the benefit assessment of innovations. In addition, you can present complex medical issues concisely and address-oriented. You can identify with the health insurance system and have social competence, organisational capacity and negotiation skills. Planner and conceptual skills as well as a binding occurrence and outcome-oriented action will also help you. It makes you happy to represent the statutory health insurance at federal level. Knowledge in quality assurance and quality management or in the field of public health complete your profile.

It expects a four-year fixed-term employment in parttime (80 % of the regular weekly working week of 39 hours; equals 31,20 hours). Your workstation is located in the middle of Berlin with excellent connections to public transport in a modern and collective association.
