Number: MER0003YQH In our field we develop assembly components with a focus on NVH (acoustics) and aerodynamics. These include underbody trims, shielding plates, as well as raw assembly components – from the concept phase to prototypes to series maturity in close coordination with total vehicle acoustics, aerodynamics and adjacent development areas. To further digitize our development processes, we are looking for a working student who builds and develops an AI agency system for intelligent automation of technical workflows. These challenges include: Conception, construction and further development of a modular AI agency system to support development processes in the hardware environment
Development and orchestration of specialised sub-agents for the automation of defined workflows (e.g. documentation processes, data analyses, maturity assessments, interface communication)
Analysis of existing development and coordination processes (internal & external) with the aim of identifying automation potentials
Close cooperation with design, project management, purchasing, quality and external partners for the integration of AI-based assistance solutions in the series development process
The activity can begin from April / May 2026.
Programme of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI or a comparable informatics course
First practical experience in the field of AI agency systems, LLM orchestration or workflow automation (e.g. n8n, make)
Programming skills (e.g. Python) and ideally experience with agent frameworks or API integration
Understanding structured processes and interest in technical developmental environments (hardware / automotive of advantage)
Analytical thinking and structured, independent working
Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
