Hessen Mobil connects people and places in Hesse. As a road construction agency, we are responsible for the complete value chain of road construction and take care of mobility strategies, planning, construction, road operation and traffic management. The Operation and Transport Department, with its 46 road masters, ensures safety throughout the year as well as the management of the federal, state and district roads: These include, for example, state and function checks, repair of road damage, wood maintenance, road cleaning and winter service. More than 900 commercial vehicles with different equipment and more than 400 cars are used for the provision of these services. In this position, you play a central role in the fleet and equipment management of the Nordhessen region. You support the planning, procurement and organisation of vehicle and large-scale equipment inventory and ensure smooth operation. This means in detail: You support the strategic and operational management of the fleet including the planning, control and optimisation of vehicle use In addition, the registration for the central procurement of vehicles and large equipment in the region is in your area of responsibility You ensure efficient management and organisation of large-scale equipment inventory, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and repair work carried out by their own personnel in the 11 North Hessian road masters and external workshops In addition, you are actively involved in the development and implementation of concepts for increasing efficiency in fleet and device management Your area of responsibility is rounded off by the professional support of the workshop staff with regard to occupational and health protection

You have completed a vocational training as a motor vehicle mechatronic / motor vehicle mechatronic, motor vehicle mechanic / motor vehicle mechanic or as a land and construction machine mechatronic / agricultural and construction machine mechatronics and have successfully completed the corresponding master examination Since the place comprises a considerable proportion of service trips, we require a corresponding readiness to travel and flexibility Their technical foundations form knowledge in fleet and device management, in particular in the handling of commercial vehicles Ideally, you also have knowledge of procurement policies and public procurement procedures Finding user knowledge in the MS Office programs and the motivation to work into new software solutions complement your professional profile You have good oral and written expressability in German (comparable level C1 CEFR) You own Class B and C/CE licence
