At the next time, we offer an unlimited full-time job as Head of Construction, Civil Engineering and Real Estate Service (w/m/d) (Architekt / Bauleiter / Bauingenieur / Stadtplaner etc.) As a manager (w/m/d) of the building, civil engineering and real estate service department, you organize the 16-member department and coordinate the tasks to achieve the constructional and technical goals of the city. The office of the Head of the Construction, Civil Engineering and Real Estate Service department is located in the Office for Planning, Construction and Environment. The areas of civil engineering, civil engineering, energy and climate protection, properties and real estate services assigned to the department are responsible, in particular, for new construction projects, continuous renovation and maintenance measures, the demand-oriented provision of land and space resources, as well as ensuring energy-conscious and economic use of urban real estate and infrastructure facilities. These include administrative buildings, daycare centers, youth centres, fire department stores, cemeteries and residential buildings. For the management of the currently 16-member team, we are looking for YOU as a practical and experienced manager – in particular we are delighted to receive women's applications. Complete university studies (Diplom / Master) in the field of architecture or civil engineering or comparable qualification Long-term professional experience and responsibility for the construction of organisations or companies Knowledge of the tasks of the department, in particular building and procurement law, project management and control, funding management as well as financial, personnel and organization management Representative willingness to take responsibility and make decisions Strategic and social skills, interdisciplinary thinking and action, experience in project management, communication and cooperation skills, and political and administrative understanding High level of intercultural competence and empathy, judgement and critique as well as strong team orientation and ability to cope with conflict
