In this position, you combine technical know-how with leadership – and actively shape the future of IT in the utility. As a management of software development, you are responsible for the technical development of our systems and processes. In the case of representation, you also take over the technical and disciplinary management of the entire IT department. You act both strategically as well as operatively as a Sparring partner (w/m/d) of the department management and impulse generator (w/m/d) for modern software development, automation and AI integration. In the day-to-day operating business, six developers as well as three trainees perform professionally and actively support the department management in the continuous development of the team. In the case of representation, you also take over the technical and disciplinary management of the IT department. You design, control and responsible for software quality, development processes and quality assurance with a clear focus on sustainable optimization and continuous improvement. As a central contact person (w/m/d) for software development, process automation and software selection, internal specialist areas are competent and solution-oriented. You take up technical and technical requirements in a structured manner, evaluate them and prepare them so that your team can work on them efficiently and in a targeted manner. In addition, you can work Hands-On in challenging projects with modern technologies such as C#, .NET Core, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and current JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React). You take over leadership responsibility in projects and in internal product development and ensure high technical quality and excellence. In addition, you integrate AI solutions specifically into existing business processes and use them to improve your team’s sustainable efficiency. Together with the Head of Department, you will be discussing strategic and operational issues of the department, bringing your ideas to an active role in the future-oriented orientation of IT.

You have a degree in computer science, economic informatics or a comparable qualification. In addition, you will bring several years of professional and leadership experience in the IT environment – ideally in a public institution or a utility facility. You have profound knowledge of software development and convince by your enthusiasm for digitalization and process automation. In addition, you have experience in project management as well as in agile working methods and understand how to advance projects in a structured and targeted manner.
