In the Customer Solution Unit “GeoInfo, Analytics & Simulation” (GIAS), we provide the IT for the Bundeswehr, which is required for the collection, georeference, analysis, combination and use of data in order to achieve information dominance and a superior decision speed. For this, we bundle responsibility for forward-looking customer solutions in the BWI. We advise our customers to transfer strategic goals into concrete requirements and plan, implement and operate the resulting solutions together with other specialist areas of the BWI.

Design of the projects to increase the imageability of the Bundeswehr – from initiation to conception and construction to operation Identification of the strategic needs of various user groups in the Bundeswehr and translation of these in functional requirements Preparation of complex functional and technical questions in a business architecture as a basis for preparing performance descriptions, architectural sketches, financial and project plans Professional leadership of a team from different specialist experts from the BWI and at the same time interface to the Bundeswehr contact partners

Complete study of economic informatics, computer science or comparable qualification At least three years of experience as a product owner, business analyst or requirements engineer or in a comparable role as a requirement manager within complex, strategic IT projects Expertise in common methods of classic and agile project management - evidence based on certifications in project management, e.g. IPMA, PMI, SCRUM or common frameworks and methods of requirements engineering such as IREB Experiences in the fields of data fusion, databases or applications for the implementation of management systems or decision support systems Knowledge of modern tools, technologies and methods e.g. Advanced Analytics, Big Data, Cognitive Computing or Artificial Intelligence Experience in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr, public authorities or global industrial companies, especially in the field of VSA-compliant architectures High level of responsibility, self-employment and target orientation Customer and service-oriented thinking as well as acting as well as project- and team-oriented work Pleasure of regular local work in our BWI offices in Bonn and Berlin, as well as appointments with our customer Bundeswehr
