Your role in ZEISS Digital Innovation They lead a team of employees and, together with this, introduce your know-how in the design and implementation of CI/CD infrastructures as well as in the operation of business-critical cloud solutions.

Your employees will be guided by you in all business, personnel and projects. They continuously develop your employees with regard to the competences in DevOps Engineering as well as Cloud Operations Engineering and are closely associated with management. In addition, you provide support for sales tasks, as well as in the planning of the area, the strategic orientation, the development of technological knowledge and the personnel requirements/personnel deployment planning. For all tasks, you will ensure balanced communication within and outside your team and the entire company.

Parallel to your leadership task, you are self-employed as DevOps Engineer. This allows you to take a project role in our agile individual software development projects. Your tasks include:

Development of the cloud infrastructure needed for software solutions using infrastructure as code Design, creation and maintenance of scripts and development tools such as continuous integration and continuous delivery Responsibility for the safe operation of the solution you have designed Administration of Azure / AWS environments, servers (Windows, Linux), databases, monitoring, log analysis

You also have the following profile: Experiences in software development projects in agile environment incl. Service Management Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services (inbes. Application Insights, Azure Monitor & Azure Policies) AND/OR Amazon WebServices (in particular CloudWatch, X-Ray & CloudTrail) Expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting and other fields of application operation Funded knowledge in the design of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipelines with Azure DevOps at Azure or with AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy & AWS CodeBuild at AWS Knowledge of how to use common infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform / ARM at Azure or CloudFormation & AWS SAM at AWS Experience in the management of personnel as part of a professional or disciplinary leadership Ability to take over the role of a moderator, conflict resolver, analyst, organizer and motivator Safe mastery of the German language and actively applicable safe English Embossed customer and result orientation as well as service-oriented thinking Good feeling for people and the potential of the respective team members
