Research assistant Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Faculty of Aerospace Engineering - Institute for Autonomous Driving ‘Intelligent regime’ (Deferred to the 14 TVöD Group) at the next possible time, searched for 2 years in full or part-time. The Institute for Autonomous Driving researches the perception and regulation of autonomous vehicles. Our professorship, led by Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bassam Alrifaee, specializes in intelligent control, with a special focus on multi-agent systems. Our research focuses on distributed predictive control, service-oriented software architectures, localization systems and applications on connected and automated vehicles. We have set ourselves the goal not only to contribute to the safety and performance of autonomous systems, but also to their positive environmental impact. Financed by public organisations and industrial partners, we are engaged in various projects. We offer a postdoctoral position, whose focus is determined in close consultation with the successful candidate or the successful candidate. Possible research areas include learning-based regulation and software architectures as well as applications in connected and automated vehicles (CAVs). This position is outstandingly suitable for freshly doctoral researchers who want to further develop their scientific profile.
