Then become part of our competence center analytics. Here we combine the production-accompanying analysis of raw materials and flavors in the context of quality control with the demanding analytical tasks in the development of new flavors. In this position, you act as a direct interface to the flavourists in the area: Food & Beverages (F&B) and supports the RnD department when mixing and analyzing flavors.

Analysis of raw materials, aromas and finished products, focusing on volatile flavourings Support for Flavour Matching / Reconstruction of Flavours by Sample Preparation, Profile Comparation and Using the Result Interpretation for Flavourists Instrumental analysis using GC–MS and HPLC, including independent evaluation and documentation of the results Operation, routine checks and participation in the maintenance of laboratory equipment

Complete vocational training as a chemical laboratory or chemical/technical assistant or comparable qualification Ideally at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in laboratory operation (preferably in the areas of aromas, food, beverages or chemistry) theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography, in particular GC (preferably GC–MS) and/or HPLC Structured, independent operation, reliability and strong organisational capabilities Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel German and English knowledge of B2 level Preferred qualifications Experience with aromas, aroma chemicals or natural raw materials Understanding aroma compositions and aroma profiles Experience in close cooperation with R&E or aroma development teams
