Legal Officer - Team Leader for the Supervision Team (m/f/d)

As a team leader (m/w/d) for the team's supervision in the Department of Law, you take on the professional and personal responsibility for a very dedicated team that is responsible for compliance with media regulations by private actors from social networks, through content-creator to broadcasters. You will play a key role in the further development of supervisory practice and strategic projects. Professional and organizational management of the team supervisor. Control, coordination and prioritization of supervisory activities. Processing of complex basic media issues and representation of LFM NRW in bodies and working groups. Processing of procedures under national and European media law, in particular in cross-border law enforcement and the application of the Digital Services Act. Support of the resulting judicial procedures. Cooperation with other (European) federal and state authorities, including in the field of law enforcement. Cooperation and support for specialist events and publications. The place has to be occupied from now on and is limited to two years - with a view to determination.

You have a completed 2nd legal state exam and have relevant legal knowledge. Multiannual relevant professional experience, ideally in a supervisory authority, public administration or in the media sector. You have well-founded knowledge in media law, in particular in the media state contract, youth media protection state contract and relevant EU regulations. You have experience in personnel management and/or project management, ideally in interdisciplinary teams. You have strong analytical skills, organisational skills and sense of responsibility. You are strong in communication, have good negotiating skills and enforcement skills.
