The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Düsseldorf is an institution of the federally established youth aid institution SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. The work of the socially oriented facility in the south of Düsseldorf in the Garath district includes various stationary, outpatient and open offers. The stationary offer with familial sibling and micro-residential groups as well as several residential communities for the reconciliation of young people and young adults is complemented by the outpatient family assistance, early help with day care, the two KITAs, the SOS multigeneration house with café and various family education offers as well as the SOS school social work and the SOS children's and youth meeting. All offers form a networked structure and pursue the social and educational objective of offering and implementing individual support concepts in child and youth aid. For our SOS Children's Village Düsseldorf we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time or part-time (min. 20 - max. 38.5 hours/Where.) Your task: Educational support and support: You support children and young people in their individual development, shape everyday life and promote social skills and self-responsibility. Creating a familiar structure: You place special emphasis on siblings and accompany the children in a loving and family setting. Individual support: You implement the measures agreed in the education and assistance plan and provide targeted educational services. Cooperation with external partners: You cooperate closely with schools, kindergartens, therapists, youth offices and other relevant institutions to ensure a holistic promotion of children. Recreation: You plan and accompany joint leisure activities, excursions and group trips to enable valuable experiences and strengthen the social skills of children and young people. You support the children in everyday management, provide life-structural skills and provide a living atmosphere. Documentation and reporting: You create reports, document the course of care and participate in help plan discussions. Teamwork: You work closely with a multi-professional team consisting of pedagogical professionals, psychologists and therapists, and participate in team meetings and commissions. Shift service with responsibility: You are ready to work in a 24-hour shift system including night, weekend and holiday services. Participation and child protection: You are committed to the rights and participation of children and young people and ensure the protection of children.
