Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH is responsible for the secure integration of E/E systems into these vehicles as a manufacturer of various military land vehicles. As a Functional Safety Manager (m/w/d) you analyze the scope of development on the system or subsystem level of the vehicle, execute requirements on the E/E system and its elements and thus contribute to a standard-compliant development of safe products in System analysis for identifying safety-critical functions Application of analysis tools (FMEA/FMEDA/FTA) Moderation of analysis workshops Advice on the definition of safety functions and test procedures Creation of safety documentation for projects Application of the applicable functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) Support for external experts and auditors Consultation of project teams on functional safety issues

Complete technical studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or computer science Ideally experience in the application of the Product Safety Act Knowledge in SysML/UML and modern SW development and test methods Safe handling of various analysis tools Ability to derive concrete requirements for projects from standards and standards Experience in the moderation of interdisciplinary teams Knowledge and experience of quality and configuration management desirable English knowledge in word and writing Fast understanding and ability to convince and enforce
