Technical and personnel management of the field, as well as management of tasks and resources Development of the forest development strategy for the Bundesforst division and the concepts for the development control of forest stocks in the National Natural Heritage Development and implementation of a concept for rejuvenation controlling Development and development of business instructions in the field of biological production Coordination of forest protection of the Bundesforst division and in cooperation with the countries Research support in training matters Handling of key issues in hunting Development of opinions and support for the Executive Board, the austerity management and for ministries of the Federal and Länder Representation of the Bundesforst division in specialised bodies We work mobile and flexible. However, on the service post/workplace there are occasional service trips, including throughout the federal territory. These missions are generally planned with sufficient chronological advance, so that the reconciliation of family and occupation is guaranteed.

Qualification: Completed academic studies (Diplom [Uni] /Master) of the Department of Forest Science Competences: At the time of occupation at least two years relevant professional experience at the higher service Practical experience in forestry service Funded knowledge in the fields of forest construction, forest ecology, forest protection and site exploration Knowledge of the implementation of scientific foundations in conceptual action strategies Knowledge of the legal foundations and regulations as well as the relevant working bases for the task area, e.g. forest laws of the countries and of the federal state, Federal Nature Conservation Act, Forestry Directives, federal and state hunting laws, laws and regulations on plant protection at federal and state level Other: Embossed planning and organizational capacity, capacity for economic thinking and action Ability to work quickly into changing tasks High self-initiative and capacity for creative and conceptual work Embossed communication capability Customer- /addressed behaviour, pronounced negotiation skills High social competence, capacity for team-oriented action and conflict resolution, critique Secure judgment, combined with the ability to make difficult decisions and take responsibility Good Personnel Management Willingness and ability to maintain and maintain potentials of staff to develop and implement the objectives of the Federal Equality Act
