Rail Management Consultants International GmbH has been a national and international company in the field of rail traffic management as well as software development and distribution for over 27 years. Our innovative IT solutions for a digital and climate-friendly future of the rail are now in use with our RailSys® software suite worldwide for railway companies in over 35 countries. To support our developer - team we are looking for you as C++ Developer (m/w/d) at the Hanover site.

Responsibility and know-how With us you can actively contribute, pitch and implement your own ideas. You take responsibility for this and actively shape the further process. With your know-how, you and the company advance. Wide range of tasks Your tasks include planning, designing and implementing convenient GUI solutions for our RailSys® user programs. You will be involved in implementing and expanding complex program logics and implementing algorithms and simulations and data interfaces to external systems. This will help you actively develop the user-friendly operation, functionality, security and efficient data management of our RailSys® software suite. In addition, you will take care of the creation and maintenance of C++-SOAP web services for data communication between client and server components within RailSys® and for the connection of third-party systems and pflegst as well as extend the internal data storage in the RailSys® Backend and its connection to the database. Cross-border cooperation In addition to our Java team and the C++ developers, the company consists of a strong consulting team that have direct customer contact. In cooperation with the Consulters or your team, you will implement customer requirements, create updates and develop new ideas. Together to the goal You are an integral part of our C++ developer team to further develop our RailSys® software suite. With this you are responsible and have the opportunity to introduce yourself and implement new ideas so that our product remains sustainable and competitive.

Conclusion Ideally, you have a degree in computer science or mathematics. A comparable training or corresponding qualifications would also be conceivable. Areas of interest You are passionate about innovative software development and digitalization in the field of transport and mobility with a focus on rail transport and want to make your personal contribution to a digitalized and climate-friendly future of the rail. Knowledge You have knowledge or experience in developing application software in C/C++.- Knowledge of the design and development of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle or MS SQL) would be desirable. You can also master different tools and development environments (e.g. Qt, Visual Studio, Git) and know you in the latest C++ standards.
