Technical Claim Manager

In this role you shape the professional handling of claims, disadvantages and shortcomings actively participate in our district heating projects. You bring technical clarity into complex facts, creates transparency at the interfaces of construction and purchasing, making an important contribution to economically successful projects. With your expertise, you also participate in the further development of rules and processes and thus sustainably support the implementation of the Berlin Heat Exchange. Technically, you check all incoming claims and supplements in district heating projects and evaluate them centrally as technical:r Claimmanager:in You analyze causes, performance changes and contractual relationship, and then conduct a sound technical assessment of claims. You monitor and track claim-related costs across the entire life cycle and prepare them transparently for project teams, purchasing and management. You apply relevant rules safely and technically, including general technical conditions, technical conditions, contracts, framework contracts and tender documents. You take over the central initial acceptance of deficiencies, say for a specialist presortment and clarification, forward them to the purchase and track the processing level. You work closely with the construction leaders in network and home station construction, purchasing and other areas of expertise, explaining technical issues in demand-relevant questions and are central: contact person:in questions concerning the subject of claim management. You actively participate in the optimization of control units and performance directories to reduce future claims and claims.

You have a degree in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, utility technology, mechanical engineering) or a comparable technical qualification. (must) You bring several years of experience in the technical project environment, ideally in the area of district heating, infrastructure, plant or grid construction. You have experience in the technical evaluation of supplements, claims, performance changes or deficiencies and can analyze and classify technical facts in a structured manner. You have a good understanding of contracts, tender documents and technical regulations and can safely apply and interpret them. You work structured, carefully and solution-oriented and are able to prepare complex facts in a comprehensible way. You can communicate safely with different interfaces and perform professionally clear and binding. You have fluent German skills at least level C1.
