As a type-accompanied press VAN, you are responsible for the technical and operational support of press vehicles in the Vans area. You make sure that vehicles are at the highest quality, functional safety and meaningful for international press events. The role combines testing, vehicle reconstruction, fault analysis and international coordination – with direct influence on the outside appearance of our vehicles.

These challenges come to you: Vehicle Responsibility Press fleet: Complete support and control of press vehicles Ensuring function, maturity and presentation quality with highest standards Coordination of vehicle provision for national and international events

Conversions & vehicle preparation: Planning, coordination and implementation of conversions to showcars and press vehicles Implementation and control of release and updating unstructured Coordination with workshops and development areas

Error analysis & problem solution: Independent analysis of vehicle complaints Transfer of findings from the development of press vehicles

Interface management: Voting with: Development (EE / HV / total vehicle) Testing & Test Management external service providers and international teams Interface function for HV and E/E subjects

Application management & events: Responsible technical support of press events Ensuring faultless vehicle operation on site First-level support for technical questions

Ideally, you bring the following: Completed studies (vehicle technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, etc.)

Multiannual experience in the field: Total vehicle testing / development vehicles BEV / HV integration

Reconstructions and vehicle construction Experience with Mercedes-Benz development processes and tools of advantage Ideally: HV Qualification (EFffT/FFHV) prototype driver certificate

Personal competence: Embossed hand-on mentality in the vehicle environment

High level of self-motivation as well as high demands on your own work result
