Our colleagues from the Franken power plant are looking for you!

In order to achieve our common goal of achieving the decarbonization of energy supply, we have developed a plan of measures at the Franken plant in Nuremberg to reduce our own energy consumption and to increase the efficiency of our production processes. We need your support for the planning and implementation of these measures. This can be done in a practical semester as well as a bachelor's thesis. The main tasks could be as follows: Detailed analysis of the energy consumption of the site or of selected main systems Development of an automated energy consumption display using the SEEQ software Analysis of selected inventory systems with regard to technical design, parameterization and their operating behavior with a focus on energy consumption elaboration of possible system adjustments in terms of efficiency enhancement

Studies in the fields of energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, power plant engineering, industrial engineering or comparable studies Interest in power plant technology and/or digitalization Affinity for analysis of process data Basic economic knowledge of cost/benefit analysis Self-employed and structured working methods as well as team skills and contact skills Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
