Sports Scientist (m/f/d)

In the paediatric hematology and oncology of the University Hospital of Bonn, the following place is to be occupied in part-time (19.25 hours / week) as of 01.04.2026. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) The body is limited to two years in the framework of a third-party funding project funded by the Innovation Fund of the Joint Federal Committee (G-BA) for the evaluation of movement-therapeutic elements in the treatment of children with an oncological disease (BEPPO), with the option of an extension subject to a medium extension.

As a sports scientist* in (m/w/d), you are involved in a multi-professional team of internalist, child-oncological and psychological colleagues.

Organisation of the courses according to the sports therapeutic study contents at the Bonn site Responsible for the screening and recruitment of patients Preparation, implementation and documentation of sport science assessments and scientific questionnaires Pre- and post-processing as well as carrying out demand-oriented and intensity-controlled movement therapy as part of the BEPPO study Implementation of resource and family-oriented sport advice Statistical processing of assessments and questionnaires, motor tests, sports and movement units, as well as other medical-safe data in scientific databases Writing scientific publications and participation in congresses Participation in interdisciplinary meetings and medical visits

Graduate degree in Sports Science / Physiotherapy Experience in the field of scientific projects (planning and implementation), ideally in the field of movement therapy with children and young people Organizationally strong and with the ability to implement complex projects structured and targeted High level of initiative, empathy, communication strength and team capacity Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
