Then we look forward to working with you as soon as possible as Head of Department (m/d) The Department of Energy Efficiency and Sales is available to the member companies as a contact person for all technological and conceptual issues in sales/marketing, in energy services and for setting up new business models. It evaluates market trends such as prosuming and intelligent building networking and technological developments in all areas of energy efficiency. The main focus is on the practical issues of market implementation. To this end, it works closely with industry and craftsmanship through a market partner association. In the position of the department management, you identify energy needs with your team – especially in the distribution and energy-efficient field – and, together with the executives of our member companies, discuss the technical-strategic orientation. Design will and fun at challenges drive you. Analytical thinking belongs to your tools as well as compromise and conviction.

Head of the Energy Efficiency and Sales Department and Strategic Development of the BDEW Content/Themes Advising the management of the company in matters of association policy and technical matters Cooperation with the member companies and the internal departments for creating common industry positions, analyses and association recommendations Technical representation of interests in relation to relevant federal ministries Working up and publication of specialist topics in the association-specific media as well as conception of specialist events, lecture activities Management of the HEA expert group for efficient energy application e. V. (Consulting of the HEA board and management of the relevant bodies, project/budget responsibility including audit)

Including university degree, an economic and technical understanding, multiannual professional experience in the energy industry, as well as the management and development of employees Experience in project management, a team-oriented working method and the willingness and ability to interdisciplinary cooperation High expertise in energy and legislation, a diplomatic skill, coupled with enforcement strength Ability to strategic analysis and development of options and solutions for energy-economic challenges Very good English knowledge in word and writing as well as very good knowledge of the common office programs
