Sovereign design, procurement and integration of perfect components of ship equipment Development of technical concepts for equipment and system components based on customer requirements and applicable rules execution of detailed designs of individual components depending on the project Testing of all construction and production documents (in 3D) and test specifications taking into account the interfaces with other systems Evaluation of external offers, formulation of technical request and order specifications as well as control of subcontractors and coordination with the classification society Participation in acceptances and testing of the responsible modules and the documentation of the technical expertise within the responsibility

Complete studies in ship engineering, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, aerospace, industrial engineering or a comparable course of studies, as an alternative to a further training as a technician Knowledge of marine building regulations and standards Secure handling of MS Office, 3D CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX) and product lifecycle management systems (Siemens Teamcenter) Ideally, professional experience in a comparable position in the shipbuilding industry/ maritime industry and therefore knowledge in the design and integration of individual components up to complete systems and systems Knowledge of marine building regulations and standards readiness for occasional journeys (approximately 5%) within Germany Good time management, creativity and a healthy portion of curiosity Organizational talent, a good understanding and fun to engage in new topics and to advance continuous improvements as a team player
