Team Lead – IT Infrastructure and IT Support (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of your IT support/infrastructure team – together you ensure a stable, secure and performant IT operation. The main focus is the integration of new companies into our existing IT infrastructure – from initial analysis to complete technical integration. Here you work closely with our departments, local management at the respective location as well as Group IT and tax external IT service partners and service providers.

IT infrastructure & operation: You ensure the optimal performance and further development of the Group-wide IT infrastructure as well as contractually regulated IT services (SLA). You are also responsible for the incident, request and escalation management. Due Diligence & Integration: Carefully check and analyze the IT of new companies in the group, set up integration plans (network, servers, clients, applications, security) and bring IT landscapes (standards, tools, processes) into line with our existing IT – schedule, budget and risk management are in sight. Implementation: You support the installation of new server hardware, applications and updates as well as the administration of applications (except ERP, CRM, CPQ, CAD). Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance – availability, utilisation, throughput and latency – and perform vulnerability analyses. IT-Governance: You are responsible for compliance with IT standards, guidelines and security requirements. Project work: You coordinate IT projects and IT topics at all locations – regionally and internationally. Personal responsibility: You plan to use your employees and also organize their further development and coaching.

You have a degree in computer science, a vocational training such as a specialist (w/m/d) for system integration or an IT-close qualification. Important is your multiannual experience in IT infrastructure / IT operations as well as in the integration of new IT landscapes into existing – keyword post-Merger integration, preferably in an international group with complex organizational structure. You could already demonstrate your strong leadership and communication strength in a management position like IT project manager or team manager (w/m/d). You are experienced in network administration and security (routers, switches, VPN accesses, firewalls, server management etc.) as well as in data backup with backup and recovery. In dealing with Microsoft 365, teams, SharePoint and cloud platforms, you’re versed and you’re also familiar with software distribution and packaging (e.g. SCCM, Intune, Altiris). You communicate safely in German and English and convince with international teams and intercultural competence and your structured, solution-oriented way of working. Occasionally, you also accompany integration projects on site and can look forward to about 20% of travel activities.
