Project Manager Field Installation for Telecommunications and Data Center Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You control infrastructure projects in the field of telecommunications and data center infrastructure from the concept phase to the final acceptance in the customer environment. You carry out technical construction visits, create the project planning together with the Engineering Team in the offer and execution phase, thereby controlling interdisciplinary teams and external service providers You are responsible for the preparation and installation of the construction site and conduct all steps from the construction permit to commissioning You coordinate the integration of prefabricated data center containers and modules, including grid replacement system, USV, batteries, rectifiers, GLT, extinguishing and fire detection technology as well as climate and monitoring systems You coordinate works collection by means of function tests (FAT) and ensure a final acceptance by experts and integral tests (SAT) You control and coordinate customer rollouts of mobile radio locations, in particular the installation of rectifier and battery systems, and thereby coordinate all the participating entrepreneurs You are responsible for resource, budget and scheduling within your projects You present project progress and results to management and customers

You have completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable field. You bring professional experience in the environment of secured power supplies, ideally in data centers or telecommunications networks, as well as knowledge in the building management (HSE, VOB are of advantage) You have experience in project management and know common project management methods such as PMI or PRINCE2. You work independently, solution-oriented and keep an overview even in unclear framework conditions. A pronounced hand-on mentality, willingness to take responsibility as well as very good organizational skills are what you stand for. You communicate clearly and confidently and stand up to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders with a high level of implementation. Very good knowledge of German and English also brings you the first experience in dealing with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and CAD programs. A class B licence and a readiness to travel of about 50% complete your profile.
