Together with European transmission system operators, you develop methods and processes for calculating capacities for European electricity trading. You implement or specify and commission the necessary software tools, first set instructions and train the system management engineers in the process execution. You prepare complex technical topics to be addressed and accompany studies in the area of capacity calculation. With your commitment to the reliable integration of our control zone into the European electricity market, you ensure that system security is maintained.

You have completed a university degree in engineering or natural sciences, ideally in the field of energy technology, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline. You have basic knowledge about the operation of electrical networks and are motivated to work on complicated topics. Experience with the European electricity market is of advantage, however, not a must. You drive themes in a dedicated and chance-orientated way, work in the team and draw your attention through a high level of reliability and sense of responsibility. You understand how to communicate clearly and addressably even in complex topics. You master a programming language and are sure to use MS Office. You have knowledge of German and very good English in word and writing. The place requires a background and a security check.
