The Ludwigsburg School of Education is a university equivalent to the universities with doctoral and habilitation law and focuses on educational questions in research and teaching. Internationalization is a central topic at the Ludwigsburg School of Education. The MIT is the central IT service provider at the University Campus Ludwigsburg. It provides IT services for the members and institutions of the Ludwigsburg School of Education and the Ludwigsburg School of Public Administration and Finance. In addition to supporting teaching and research, MIT also ensures IT provision for the administrations and the student areas of both universities. The MIT consists of the Digital Learning Center, Campus Management and the three data center teams IT infrastructure, IT system services and IT service. The IT infrastructure team consists of six employees and provides the basis for further systems. The support of network services, the management of server and storage environments, data backup and virtualization of systems and applications also fall into the task area. The IT system services team provides central IT services for the university, such as e-mail, learning platforms (e.g. Moodle), as well as other specialist applications, and continuously develops them.

The focus is either in the field of IT infrastructure (including Cisco, Cambium, Fortinet, Virtualization and Server Room Operation) or in the field of system administration (Linux and Windows servers). The main activity is defined in accordance with the qualification profile and the focus of interest. As a team leader, you take responsibility for the IT infrastructure team or for the IT system services team. In addition, in the area to be responsible, you are involved in administrative, coordinating and strategic tasks with high design playroom. In addition, the following other areas of activity include: Support for the management of the MIT in the management and implementation of the IT strategies of both universities on the Campus Ludwigsburg Participation in the further development of the overall technical concept of the MIT Contact person for IT projects and cooperation in corresponding working groups Support in creating project applications, process descriptions and publications Support for analysis and troubleshooting and technical problems

Complete studies (Diplom, Master) of information technology, electrical engineering or comparable or related disciplines Knowledge in some of the following areas: Network infrastructure (LAN / WLAN) Voice over IP Phone Media technology Automation (Infrastructure-as-Code, Scripting) Directory Services and Identity Management Systems Web applications and server operating systems Groupware systems
