Our department is responsible for the system development and system architecture of driving and parking systems. We are responsible for the development of a wide range of ADAS systems (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which range from the rear camera to lane holding systems to remote parking via smartphone app. The Immendingen site, with its modern test site, offers excellent opportunities for developing forward-looking assistance systems. As part of your internship, you support the simulation and virtualization of new assistance functions of our parking assistance system. These include the use of various Extended Reality methods (e.g. virtual reality, mixed reality, augmented reality) to combine simulated elements with real driving scenarios. This allows an early evaluation of assistance functions with reduced effort for test setups. They work actively in a motivated, young team and close to the vehicle.
