As Art Director* in the field of visual communication in the design sector of Mercedes-Benz, you are deeply immersed in the fascinating world of automotive design and are shaping the visual communication and corporate design projects for one of the most renowned brands in the world. You control and answer current communication, corporate design and graphic design projects and work closely with our internal visualization team. You conduct complex design tasks independently taking into account our design philosophy. This includes the development of idea and conception, the translation of brand strategy into emotional mood worlds, the creative implementation and the support of design projects to the final application. Tasks in detail: Analyze current design trends, image worlds and industry developments Translation of brand strategy into fascinating mood worlds and creation of high-quality automotive image worlds Art Direction Support and creative control of CGI Auto Renderings in close cooperation with our internal visualization Safe handling and further development of corporate design base elements with the highest standards of color, logos, typography, material, proportions and image language Design work and conceptual creation within digital, analog and virtual projects Integration of artificial intelligence within the projects for creative and process optimization Creative control when creating and editing content for digital media (film, image & text) Coordination and preparation of lectures Presentation and coordination with internal departments and external partners Innovative rethinking of future projects and visual storytelling

Ideally, you will bring: You will have a completed degree in Design (Communication Design, Graphic Design, etc.) and bring several years of professional experience as Art Director*in – in particular you will have well-founded experience in the creation of automotive image worlds

You bring your creative potential into our design tasks in a way that combines shape, color, material, proportion, typography and visual language

You have the eye for details and for the big whole

You have an extremely high claim to the quality of your designs, a deep understanding of corporate design and prove courage and passion for creation and innovation

You are flexible in thinking, have a pronounced affinity on automotive topics and joy in developing visionary ideas together in the team.

Secure and daily application of graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe Premiere Pro. A good understanding of 3D workflows and programs (such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Rhino, VRED, etc.) is essential for cooperation with the visualization team

Finded knowledge in the popular image AI tools strongly desirable. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (or PowerPoint for presentation preparation) are the basic requirement
